Search Archived News with Google

Google's news archive lets you search through historical archives. Also it automatically gives timelines which shows selected result from relevant time period. Google has spread his wings of search to news & result is news-archive.

Using this search you can get how the event, people or ideas were described over time. You can select the timeline for given search to customize your search result. Also you can customize result by restricting date, language, source, price & even source i.e. you want results about some topic which were published by that source (news agency)

e.g. if you search Shilpa Shetty; you will get result having bar graph & highest search for this term (Shilpa Shetty) was in 2006-07 (more precisely in Jan 07 ). The search result contains different news that were published till now about Shilpa Shetty.

Some of you may want to see news about Shilpa Shetty within Dec 06 to Jan 07; then just click on bar on that timeline to get required result.
